Today the Ag Center is "buzzing" in anticipation for things to come. There is a beekeepers event on April 21 from 6-7:30. The Mill Spring Farm Store dairy cooler is bursting with local eggs, local cheeses, and new flavors of ice creams. The first crop of ramps have arrived. Old faces and new faces. Shoppers and vendors alike see the special-ness of the Store. Opportunities for all. The AG Center provides office space for the Agricultural Development and GRO. Dedicated folks working to educate through Farmers Markets, school programs, and Projects such as Grow Food where people live. There are volunteers working in the Auditorium getting ready for The Art Farm Variety Show Production this Friday from 7-8:30, doors opening at 6:30. The new curtains are hung and County residents have made financial donations towards this renovation project. Donations and volunteers always needed for this huge undertaking. Becky Merrill-Collins creates her artistry in her Bee-Spoke Gallery downstairs. A Dress Designer works on her creations for her kiosk at The Tryon Equestrian Center. New residents in our county chose this wonderful building today for their Art Studio.
